À ne pas confondre avec le futur simple (will + base) qui exprime simplement une action future.

• By next Friday, I will have finished the report. — D'ici vendredi prochain, j'aurai terminé le rapport.
• By the time you arrive, we will have eaten dinner. — Quand tu arriveras, nous aurons déjà dîné.
• She will have worked here for 10 years next month. — Elle aura travaillé ici pendant 10 ans le mois prochain.
• By 2030, they will have built the new airport. — D'ici 2030, ils auront construit le nouvel aéroport.
