Les temps verbaux — mots indices
Chaque temps possède des mots déclencheurs qui apparaissent systématiquement au TOEIC. Mémorise ces mots-clés.

Nom / Adjectif / Adverbe
Regarde ce qui précède ou suit le blanc pour choisir la bonne forme.

Ces quatre mots sont souvent confondus. Chacun a une logique précise.

Le passif — by
Au passif, on utilise toujours by pour indiquer qui fait l'action.
Despite / Although / However / Because of
Ces connecteurs logiques sont très fréquents. La distinction clé : nom vs phrase complète.

Tell vs Say
Tell exige un destinataire direct (sans to). Say ne prend pas de destinataire direct.

Questions indirectes
Après "Can you tell me / Do you know / I wonder…" → pas d'inversion sujet-verbe.

Modaux au passé
Ces formes expriment la déduction, le regret ou la possibilité dans le passé.

Ces expressions utilisent to mais sont suivies de -ing (pas l'infinitif !)

Pour renforcer un comparatif, on utilise des adverbes d'intensité devant.
