Adjectifs courts (1 syllabe, ou 2 syllabes en -y) :

- Comparatif : adjectif + -er (+ than)

- Superlatif : the + adjectif + -est

Adjectifs longs (2+ syllabes) :

- Comparatif : more + adjectif (+ than)

- Superlatif : the most + adjectif

Irréguliers : good → better → the best / bad → worse → the worst / far → further → the furthest

• She is taller than her brother. — Elle est plus grande que son frère. (court → -er)
• This is the tallest building in the city. — C'est le bâtiment le plus haut de la ville. (court → the -est)
• This book is more interesting than that one. — Ce livre est plus intéressant que celui-là. (long → more)
• It's the best film I've ever seen. — C'est le meilleur film que j'aie jamais vu. (irrégulier)
