Comparative (2 things)

Short adjectives: add -er → tall → taller, fast → faster

Long adjectives: more + adjective → beautiful → more beautiful

Structure: A is + comparative + than + B

• Paris is bigger than Lyon.
• English is more useful than Latin.

Superlative (3+ things)

Short: the + -est → the tallest, the fastest

Long: the most + adjective → the most beautiful

• Mount Everest is the highest mountain.
• This is the most interesting book I've read.

Irregular Forms

good → better → the best | bad → worse → the worst | far → farther → the farthest
